Post-Industrial Landscapes

These photographs, all taken since 2012, aim to illustrate ways in which the contemporary landscape is shaped by the legacy of past industrial activity. This legacy may appear in the form of abandonment and dereliction, the re-purposing of former industrial buildings, the creation of industrial heritage or, in some cases, complete redevelopment. In the case of the latter, however, it is unusual for absolutely all evidence of past industrial use to have been completely obliterated, though this is pretty much what has happened at Canary Wharf in London.
